About Us
RHP (Relieve Human Pain) is a non-governmental organization created in Bukavu on May 2, 2018, in accordance with Law No. 004/2001 of July 20, 2001, concerning general provisions applicable to non-profit associations and public utility establishments in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It may establish branches in any other country by decision of the General Assembly.
For more than two decades, the Congolese people have faced numerous challenges exacerbated by armed conflicts: extreme poverty, gender-based violence, widespread insecurity, high unemployment rates, lack of infrastructure of all kinds, lack of quality healthcare, a polluted environment, substandard housing, and difficulty accessing education. Considering all these challenges, RHP aims to be a platform for reflection, advocacy, and intervention to define strategies and approaches that can contribute to improving the conditions of the most disadvantaged people, particularly children, women, and the elderly, who are the direct beneficiaries of our humanitarian interventions.

Our Mission
Our mission is to propose concrete initiatives and actions to transform the way the world generally treats women, the elderly, and children, with the aim of achieving a lasting improvement in their daily lives.

Our Vision
Our vision is to see a world in which the dignity of women, the elderly, and children is restored.
